The P-51 “Mustang” is one of the most iconic fighter aircraft of World War II, renowned for its outstanding speed, range, and maneuverability. Even in the modern era of aviation sports, the P-51 remains a prominent competitor in air races worldwide.

The P-51D STREGA is a legendary racing aircraft in aviation history. Since the 1980s, STREGA has achieved remarkable results in numerous air racing competitions, winning nine national championships. Its powerful performance and highly recognizable design make it one of the most iconic racing aircraft among aviation enthusiasts.

This 35–55CC full composite P-51D STREGA scale model aircraft is independently developed and manufactured by KK MODEL. It is the company's second full composite scale model aircraft, following the A-27 Tucano. The A-27 Tucano’s successful combination of attractive design and excellent flight performance laid a solid foundation for the development of this P-51D model.

During the design process, the R&D team carefully replicated the real aircraft’s proportions and details. Using precision molds and extensive flight testing over nearly a year, the team produced a scale fighter model with accurate contours, smooth lines, and excellent flight performance.

Precision molded construction faithfully replicates the real aircraft details including rivet textures, panel lines, scale exhaust outlets, belly radiator, landing gear doors, and other structural details.

Equipped with a realistic instrument cockpit and an opening canopy hatch for convenient battery replacement and installation of receiver and servo equipment.

Detachable wings and horizontal stabilizers allow easier transportation and quick field assembly.

6. Integrated Composite Control Surfaces
Ailerons and flaps are integrated with the wings, and elevators with the stabilizer. No additional hinge installation is required. The rudder hinges are included and only require adhesive installation.

High-quality fiberglass control horns are pre-installed on ailerons, flaps, elevators, and rudder, simplifying the assembly process.

8. Dual Power System Compatibility
The airframe is designed to support both gasoline engines and electric power systems, allowing pilots to choose their preferred power setup.

Two firewall sizes are available: 180 mm and 220 mm, allowing compatibility with different engine installations. 180mm suits standard 35–55CC engines and electric power systems; 220mm fits the GF60I2 four-stroke 60CC twin-cylinder engine (please inform before ordering if 220mm version is required).
